Requirments

Key Expertise & Personal Traits

• 3+ years experience with PHP
• 3+ years experience with Laravel
• Experience in unit testing and function testing in PHP and Javascript.
• Experience building secure REST APIs
• Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL.
• TDD is a must for us.
• Experience with Git and SSH.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with little oversight.
• Willingness to pair program, strong collaboration within the team as well as with external groups including other development teams, operations, QA, and business partners.
• Understand Agile and scrum methodologies

Nice To Have

• Experience working NOSQL Databases like MongoDB
• Understanding of Docker and other container formats would be strong assets
• Experience working with Laravel messaging queues

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, especially working with a distributed team online
• Critical eye for detail
• Able to multitask effectively
• Able to adapt quickly to changing project requirements
